Just a quick update for those of you praying for the July 29th date we mentioned in our recent newsletter.

The attorney went to the court today and asked for permission for us to proceed with the adoption of Mumu.   We were granted an ok to continue to the next step which is to have the Department of Social Welfare make a socioeconomic study.  (Home Study).

The attorney warned that we must wait for them to contact us, and that they are "backlogged".   I know that this is true and that every social worker I have ever met in the country is under lots of pressure with many, many cases.

Please pray with us that our attorney will be able to put our case in the hands of a social worker who will take the request seriously and that we will know when and how to proceed without pushing too hard.  We want this to happen quickly now that we have waited over 10 years.  

But we trust God's perfect timing and plan.  So we will wait.
